Her best album to date… rich in lyrics, each telling a story with a real commercial edge. The opening track ‘Love Saves the Day’ is superb and so it continues with twelve outstanding tracks. Her songwriting indeed it has matured … stunning (where to next?)

Five tracks all with the hall marks of CHNG… a unique fusion of musical genres …all hard hitting, melodic and deserve wider attention

Brian Inglis, Jelli Records

Back with a new look and stronger sound, ‘Lights Out’ is a chunky song with a stronger production focus and a larger than life chorus. Very hooky

Making waves with unique R&B, which melds Asian sounds with the rhythms of Bristol Bass…channels righteous anger and dance floor desire.

The Musician Magazine

A fine collection of tunes with powerful lyrics that talk of self-determination, beating the odds and trusting in yourself. The messages are particularly strong in terms of empowerment… if you like electronica and care about lyrics you will love this album

The origins of the Red Pocket – the ‘Butterfly’ EP  Chinese New Year 2013 – the EP came in a (sold out) limited edition red packet envelope, with a hand stamped bespoke gold design (Bart Blazejewski) and gold CD inside – representing the coins placed inside for good luck. Red Pocket Records exists on Cheung Island, the fantasy world this website was transformed into for 2018, to mark Empress album launch. It’s named after the Chinese lucky red packets given out to children at Chinese New Year.
